Day 9, Leah
Ahh, country living…this is the life. Once again reminded of the different pace to things out here. We often work like dogs when we are visiting, but Mom only has a short list for us this time so we were able to relax today. We had our morning coffee while sitting on the deck and watching the birds. The hummingbird feeder was very popular with some young hummingbirds and one or two aggressive older ones. Keith loves watching them battle.
We were entertained by some smaller nuthatches and then the larger and colourful grosbeaks joined our party. We had great entertainment before breakfast!

Paul & Courtney came up for breakfast with Jonas in tow. They brought their two dogs as well. Let’s just say between my brother and the young dogs the house gets a lot more lively. I stuck around the house with mom today, Keith took Jonas for a scoot on his bike into town. Jonas had a great time on the bike & requested to go for a ride again tomorrow. We did a few chores off of the list plus some extras like rodent eradication. Overall it was a very chill and relaxing day.
